Come join the fun at the Galleria Mall (5:00-8:00 p.m.)!  10% of all the proceeds of this evening will come to our school.  We could use the extra MOOOOO-Lah! 

Invite your neighbors and your friends - they don't have to attend Green Valley in order for us to receive the benefit.

The class with highest percentage of participation receives an Ice Dream party.

Arbor Day at Green Valley



Third grade participated in an Arbor Day tree planting.





Colin Connor, city forester, along with two others from the Hoover
Beautification Board helped organize this event with Mrs. Barnett.



Students helped plant an Overcup Oak Tree in GV's front yard for all
to enjoy.





Come out to Aldridge Gardens next Saturday, March 3 and pick up your
free tree!

GV Robotics Team Places 1st and 2nd!!!



Green Valley Robotics Team (RoboGators) came in 1st and 2nd place at the
District Level Competition which was held February 4 at
Riverchase Elementary.  Congratulations!



Body Trek!



Look what I saw in the parking lot this weekend!  Body Trek
begins Tuesday, February 14.  We are still looking for parent
volunteers to make this a success!

Jump Rope for Heart



February 1 was Jump Rope for Heart Day at Green Valley.  All students
spent their P.E. time jumping rope for a good cause.
